When you gonna build a tremolo Tim? I need one. Oh and the Wolf is great, pretty versatile, have used as a light overdrive and main distortion over the past few gigs/practices. Scared a few people with green ringer engaged too!
Hi Liam, great to hear your Grumbly Wolf is doing good service. I've built one tremolo so far, for Stacey, but I shall be designing a PCB layout and making a small batch once the next lot of Harmonic Percolators are finished. The one I made (based on the Modified EA Tremolo) is here in tiki fabric.
Sweet. I'll start saving my pennys. Actually there's something about the wolf I've been meaning to ask. Had a peep inside at the trimpot on the green ringer but haven't touched it yet, what's the deal with it? It's like a 1-2-3 thing but what different sounds at each point?
Ah the 1-2-3 are just labels for the terminals on it. Ignore them. It adjusts the frequency response of the ring mod circuit. Use a small screwdriver to adjust it whilst strumming your guitar until you get a sound you like.
