Battle release their hugely-anticipated debut mini album 'Back To Earth' on Monday, 23rd October through Trangressive Records. It is proceeded by the release of their limited edition single 'Beautiful Dynasty' this week. The video for 'Beautiful Dynasty' is below:

Here's the blurbo: "Produced by Gareth Jones (Wire, The Futureheads, Nick Cave and Interpol) and Jeff Knowler (Super Furry Animals, Blur), highlights of 'Back To Earth' include the frankly ruddy-brilliant Top 40 single 'Tendency' and live favourites 'Isabelle' and 'Wicked Owl'. The new single 'Beautiful Dynasty' will be taken from the album and will be released as a strictly limited edition 7” run of 500 copies. This highly collectible format will be backed with the track 'Selfish To The Core' that is exclusive to this release.



Prolifically strong songwriters, the band will continue to work on new material for their full-length LP, 'Break The Banks', that will be released in early 2007 and will feature all-new, as-yet-unheard material and a re-recorded version of their cult classic single 'Demons' (the original version of 'Demons' sold out all 1500 copies of its initial limited edition pressing in the week of release and was voted as the third best single of 2005 in Rough Trade shops' poll alongside the likes of Arctic Monkeys, Franz Ferdinand, The White Stripes and Arcade Fire)."



Aside from working on 'Break The Banks', Battle are now supporting The Cooper Temple Clause on their October tour.
