Gnarls Barkley - Who Cares/ Gone Daddy Gone

With their gargantuan debut single 'Crazy' and its Top 10 follow-up 'Smiley Faces' ensuring ever-growing sales of the Platinum-certified debut album 'St. Elsewhere', Gnarls Barkley are poised to release the double-A side single 'Who Cares' / 'Gone Daddy Gone' on November 6th on Warner Bros. Records.

According to the press release their new double a side skilfully weaves: "Cee-Lo's imaginative and ambitious vocal talents into Danger Mouse's finely crafted wall of sound that incorporates a elements from Keith Mansfield's 'Mono Ski', 'Who Cares' is indicative of the widely praised 'St. Elsewhere' set. 'Gone Daddy Gone' is their radical interpretation of the classic track by Violent Femmes and a cornerstone of the Gnarls Barkley live experience."

The single will be available on CD, Maxi Enhanced CD and 7” picture disc. All formats feature both tracks whilst the Maxi Enhanced CD will feature videos for both songs.

The Gnarls Barkley success story is the stuff of legend with history being made of both sides of the Atlantic. Having made music history when the track became the first to top the UK singles chart on download sales alone, 'Crazy' was the longest running #1 single since 1994. The duo also enjoyed the rare 1-2-3-4 of simultaneous single, album, ringtone and airplay domination.

'St. Elsewhere' pushed boundaries further with global sales to date in excess of two million copies. The album topped the UK album chart upon its release earlier this year and has since sold almost 500,000 copies. The album also spent nine weeks uninterrupted on the Top 10 of the Billboard album chart.

Danger Mouse recently made headlines when a retouched version of Paris Hilton's self-titled debut album was snuck into stores. Danger Mouse added a track that repeatedly sampled her “It's hot!” catchphrase whilst Banksy subverted the album artwork and liner notes.

Gnarls Barkley will return to the UK to play headline dates in November and December.
