Playing the trendy hipster haunt of the Bar & Kitchen, you might expect Exit Calm to actually be alright. You'd be very much mistaken though, as they've somehow blagged their way into East London's coolest hang out for their second date in the capital on their 26 date UK tour. Once is more than enough.

Looking like cast offs of today's northern lad-rock contingent (Pigeon Detectives, The Enemy, The Courteeners) and sounding like sub-standard Manc Britpop with a completely unnecessary noise-pop wall of sound edge, Exit Calm could've single-handedly destroyed the Bar & Kitchen's reputation for putting on the hottest new acts. If only the room was more than half full...
