For a third time in as many years Wild Beasts gave a phenomenal performance in Norwich. Their indie pop-operatics never fail to stun, inspire and uplift and the modestly sized crowd of 400 - 500 people inside Norwich Waterfront were treated to almost-full renditions of both albums from the Kendal four-piece.

The most recent material from the band's sophomore album Two Dancers combined perfectly with Limbo, Panto material, as expected; testament to the band's consistency and unwavering, unique approach to their music. Vocally, you'll struggle to see a more intriguing mixed-bag of highs and lows and instrumentally the delicate layering and ever-perfect timing make Wild Beasts a band to see again and again.

Best-known singles The Devil's Crayon and Hooting and Howling were somewhat overshadowed by lesser-known album tracks, not for their inferiority, but for the sheer brilliance of the band's back-catalogue and follow-up material. The soaring, triumphant Two Dancers teetered on the edge of it's crescendo before breaking into it's thundering chorus and the operatic His Grinning Skill proving that the band's brace of albums are as unique and enchanting as each other.

Wild Beasts are also touring their socks off this year, playing a bucket-load of festivals big and small alongside headline tours - You'd be mad to miss them!
