Archie Bronson Outfit, the Wiltshire trio, are now proudly showing off their Cherry Lips. ABO build up to Cherry Lips with layers of tinny drums and severe strumming accompanied by chorus chants of “You are my Cherry Lips” which becomes the basis of the track.
It has a strong rhythm right the way through and a collection of guitar chords venturing out of the constant basis, but always returning to the safety of the memorable melody that makes this a very distinct song.
The band have a forty second cameo at the end of the performance when the lead guitarist fiddles with the strings, but this time he's joined by seems a deranged harmonica played obscurely leaving Cherry Lips ending in peculiar fashion. Nevertheless, this is definitely toe-tapping material and worth a listen.
