Little known band The Dykeenies are amassing huge support both here in the UK and across the pond in the US, thanks to their highly appealing and fresh faced mix of New Wave/ Indie Rock. With a lyrical quality similar to that of bands like Maximo Park and The Mystery Jets, The Dykeenies union of fast paced driving bass lines, punchy drumming and melodic guitar riffs manages to produce a musical sound that is quite unique and highly appealing.

With new single 'Clean Up Your Eyes', lead vocalist Brian Henderson emits highly charged and emotive vocals that are faultless adding as a valued component to a track, which on initial inspection, could be attributed to one of the numerous American indie/alternative bands on the current music scene. The fast paced, simply formulated nature of this track is appealing and will not disappoint. Whilst a decent chart position has been elusive thus far this track is sure to yield greater success.
