Yourcodenameis:milo - I'm Impressed
Matt Clutton 17/07/2007
Rating: 4/5
Despite initial band member dilemmas surrounding drummer Paul Gamble-'Bez'-Beresford's departure and Justin Lockey's absence due to injury, YOURCODENAMEIS:MILO's offering 'I'm Impressed' is to reach the midst of the virtual world in download format without a hitch.
Full to the brim with teenage angst, a gritty lead and bass guitar
arrangement belt into proceedings, emphasising the bands love of post-hardcore/ punk rock. Paul Mullen applies a quivering intensity to highly emotive vocals which pitch perfectly against a hugely addictive guitar/ vocal melody. The track's mood is quick to change from demented robot to foot loose and fancy free at the flick of a switch making the track immensely appealing. 'I'm Impressed'....yes very!
