Violator has touches of The Cure and New Order about it, until a guitar that's charmingly played out of time, echoes in full effect. It's all 80s backbeats with a modern twist: it also has a little Bowie moment when violator is uttered 'vi-vi-vi-violator in the chorus. This isn't really single material, but it's more intriguing than a lot of what else is on offer.
