Swaggering somewhere inbetween Death From Above 1979 and Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds this is a pleasingly dark, sinister and menacing little single. It manages to fit the Mancunian band's arrogant, nonchalant 'rock n roll' (c) attitude without them coming across like a bunch of Towers Of London. B-side 'A Hint of Rennit Innit' is a chaotic, avant-garde piece of art-punk that showcases the band's sense of invention and their ear for good riffs, tight changes and general madness.
