Fake Problems - The Dream Team Rehab in the Jungle

As is befitting of their first release for a significant label, Fake Problems have delivered a bigger and more accomplished sounding lead single than the ramshackle rockabilly punk of their early efforts. '“The Dream Team Rehab in the Jungle”' is a pretty straight up piece of indie rock in the mould of the Hold Steady that sets its stall out early with a massive sing along of a chorus. But what gives the song - and the band - an edge over their contemporaries is frontman Chris Farren's rich and raucous vocals, here managing to disguise the song's plea for fidelity and companionship under a much more playful blanket.

A thrilling live proposition, the band have already won over a number of fans here, including singer-songwriter of the moment Frank Turner, and could well be in with an outside chance of success on these shores in the coming year.
