Evils - The End Of The World

Cardiff-based electronic artist is gearing up to release his debut album, and ahead of that comes this completely 100% free download single. It's a vibrant, lively tune filled with swirly synths, classic sounding dance drums, laser beams, robot voices, vocoder lyrics and Casio flourishes. It's completely retro sounding, but unashamedly so and stuffed with enough energy and enthusiasm to worry the most hyperactive of children.
Falling somewhere between Daft Punk are 10,000 Hz Legend-era Air this is a curious introduction to an artist who seems pleasingly at odds with Shape Records last signing Fredrick Stanley Star. Though despite this being his debut LP Evils have been around for a while, releasing a number of notable EPs over the past few years and gaining considerable airplay. His album proper is out on the 8th June 2009 and the single can be downloaded now via the Shape Records site:
