Merz, aka Conrad Lambert, is not one for people whose only interest in music is based upon whether they like this song, this song or this song - you have to be able to appreciate music, appreciate the beauty and poetry that can be reflected and not just base a judgement on the first few seconds that you hear.

Postcard From A Dark Star is sophisticated, melancholic and beautifully dreamy. Admittedly, the vocals are somewhat hit and miss, but their distinctive gentle sombre tones layer perfectly over the soft tinkering piano. This song is one to be cherished. Cherish and admire its simplicity and lose yourself in the unique atmosphere and emotion that it creates that is unlike anything else around at present.
