Dogs might not be part of the in crowd according to the capital's fickle fashionistas but new single “Tarred & Feathered” exhibits all the mod punk qualities that helped snag them a support slot on Paul Weller's current sold out tour. Pin sharp guitars, lyrics about escaping the 9-5 humdrum and Johnny Cooke's rasping vox coalesce here to create an anthem in waiting for a disaffected generation. But will anyone take heed?
