What in the damn Hell is this?

At first, Crystal Fighters come on like a strained cup of The Go! Team, but after a brief while you realise the tea has been brewed with the shaved head of NDubz, and before you know it a dash of Architecture in Helsinki hits you like a cheeky snort around the back of the head. Their current single 'In the Summer' raves from interesting, to catastrophic, to potentially under the influence within a short four minutes. The incessant buzz and fuzz of studio gadgets gives you no chance to grab the true direction of this Spanish band, bar wondering flippantly whether they think it's still acceptable to sound like the after math of a Klaxons headline slot. Astoundingly confusing.
