In the video for 'Fire Eye'd Boy', Broken Social Scene finally give into their horny fans hungry for Canadian indie-totty and give us a hot, steamy, semi-naked shower scene... of Kevin Drew. The summer camp-set video is very amusing, but its only problem is it slightly takes attention away from the wonderful song it is set to. One of the louder moments from their utterly astonishing eponymous album, it slightly resembles 'Almost Crimes' from 2003's 'You Forgot It In People' - a noisy rock-out which maintains their trademark guitar textures, with nigh-on indesicpherable lyrics. Now with a great video to lighten the mood, it's business as usual for one of the world's most consistantly exciting bands, now perhaps deservedly heading for the mainstream.
