Tarka Groove Experiment's hoary old man blues rock is shockingly bad. “Get your funk on and dance, dance, dance” urges James Fender in the kind of gravely voice that was surely perfected by years of smoking twenty Marlboro's a day. Imagine the worst bits of The Stone Roses' “Second Coming” mixed with the dated dance funk grooves of the Stereo MC's and you'll have a good idea of just how awful this record (“Get On Down”) really is.
