Well, it's time to put aside tear-stained copies of Parklife and confront the truth; as rumors of reunion drift away like breadcrumbs on water, we put to rest our hopes of a back-together Blur. But hey, what a consolation prize. “I Can't Look At Your Skin,” one of the stronger tracks off of Love Travels a Illegal Speeds, now shows up as a double A-side with “What's He Got?” and clearly Graham's onto something good. Yes, it's another Buzzcocks basher, complete with lyrics extolling the beautiful bird (“Stealing hearts just like a thief/ Killing boys with your body”) and a beat that thrashes you to tiny, star-shaped pieces. And no, it's not especially clever but it sounds fucking fantastic, so who are we to complain?
