Happy new year!
It's been all of a few months since the last car post, so... Much maligned, but on appearances at least a classic design that becomes more iconic by the year. I'm surely not alone in seeing stylistic nods to 80s Bang & Olufsen in these angles.
In other car news, there was almost a new Saab 9-5. After 12 or something years of the same boring box. Who was to know? The marque is being shut by GM as a buyer hasn't been found so there's been not a jot of advertising for the new car outside their website. I only looked at the Saab site due to a mention in Private Eye's 'Pseuds Corner'. The 9-5 is, um, a bit ugly. Although I quite like the idea of styling the front of the car like an elk's profile. A case of nothing to lose, I guess.
