£250 car 16th June 2007
Following last night's enjoyable Silver Rocket show, very possibly the last [band] will play in London for a good while (more details on this and that later) Stacey and I drove to depressing and grim Southend to pick-up a cheap motor I'll need to use for commuting in the future. Time will tell whether buying a car unseen on ebay was a good idea, but I can't see myself getting so attached that I couldn't bare to cube it once the MOT and tax expire in November. Crunch! Just joking. Perhaps. Here's a green Saab anyway:
Comments
Oh yeah!
1. stereo didn't work, replaced this for £112 inc. the cost of mounting brackets and tray to fill the big gap in dash.
2. new stereo killed-off the battery. Wouldn't charge for shit. Cost £75
3. dorky guy who sold me the car didn't attach front wheel properly. Needed to be reattached before it fell off. Bad karma dorky jerk- I hope you die!
