"transparent-sounding distortion" what does that mean?
Duh duh duh "BAD SPAAAM ROOOOBOOOOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT"
It means you can still hear every note you pick. It doesn't muddy-up like a big muff or most (more complicated) fuzz pedals. It has no tone control, and some people find them a little shrill, but not I.
