I was all set to irrationally hate this. Produced by Will.i.am (surely one of the smuggest MCs to be walking this earth), his lyrical involvement on Flo Rida's latest single is restricted to the hook and a middle-eight. His measured production lends the record a fine, retro-electro vibe complete with scuzzy synth lines and thumping 808 beats and handclaps. A quick warning: you may find your body involuntarily popping and locking.

Flo Rida's flow peppers in and out of the beats, and comes fully stocked with vapid lyrical content. An absolute commercial club banger, 'In the Ayer' offers its listeners nothing more than another reason to act really dumb in front of people you know and don't know. If you are dancing to this, you will most likely be shaking or breaking something; and that's all that this song actually wants from you. That, and yo' money.
