Recording hot weekend aftermath 6th July 2006

Spent Monday and Tuesday this week recording four new songs in Simon's new recording studio below the Duke of Uke shop in Spitalfields on the two hottest days of the year so far. It might sound odd, but we're used to working so fast that having two whole days was a luxury. And great because on the second day we got to seriously mess about with overdubs, double-tracking and strange effects (and a xylophone) for the first time. The results sound very good to me.
