Petite Super Unpleasant Companion

The Fredric Effects Petite Super Unpleasant Companion is a combined Shin-Ei FY-2 Companion Fuzz and FY-6 Superfuzz in a custom enclosure which is smaller than our Classic Super Unpleasant Companion. It features top-mounted jacks and has the controls on the front face.

This pedal supersedes the very successful Nouveau Super Unpleasant Companion we built for almost a decade! It features several improvements: the tone switch has now been moved to a second foot switch, and a dual-colour LED indicates the tone selected. The octave overtones of the Superfuzz circuit can now be negated by pressing the 'octave' button.

The circuit is a faithful reproduction of both the FY-2 Companion Fuzz and FY-6 Superfuzz.

Choose either with the push-button switch and the controls are:
FY-2: Fuzztone, Volume 
FY-6: Gain/Sustain, Volume

The tone foot switch is active in either FY2 or FY6 mode, and selects either a flatter or more scooped EQ.
