More pedal graphics 11th July 2009

Promise the next blog post won't be about effects, but here are a couple of new ones. The 'Unpleasant Companion' is a straight Shin-Ei Companion Fuzz clone with an added clean boost (see earlier blog post about this). I felt inspired to make a batch of these by the interest generated by the one I put on ebay recently. It has a scary Tengu on the box. The 'Liquid Fox' is a high gain fuzz based on two cascaded MXR Distortion plus circuits with a few tweaks.



Here's a custom build. Usually I'm trying to make these things smaller, but as a one-off custom order I put the green Big Muff in a larger enclosure (this is still smallish though, about the same size as the modern Little Big Muff). I like it because the knobs are in a row and it shows the graphics off to better effect.
